10/9/11- Wind, Wind and more Wind

This morning i had the pleasure of fishing with John Luzynski and Mike Dolan. John lives in Missouri and Mike in Kentucky. The two friends met in the middle and drove down for a couple days of fishing in and around Orange Beach. We met at 5:30 a.m. and after a short introduction and a quick stop at the bait store we were on our way. With the wind howling, the pair fished hard around the docks of the intracoastal in search of some nice Redfish. After fishing the docks and coming up with Speckled Trout, small Redfish, Ladyfish and a plethora of exotics as John called them, we ventured to the ledges and troughs of the grass flats. Finding more small Trout was all we could muster. Neap tide and strong winds made for a tough day at Lost Bay. John and Mike both did a great job of capitalizing on the fish that we were able to locate and fished hard to the very end of day 1. Day 2 is forecasted to be even stronger winds so we decided to do a night trip in search of that big Redfish.

Lost Bay Fishing thought it would be fun to compile a map of the hometowns of past clients, below is the location of the client(s) that were a part of this specific trip. To see the map with all the past clients' hometowns click here ››
