Unbelievable Redfish Season

Posted by Captain Bill Willis on Dec-30-2015

This years Fall/Winter Redfish season has been the best in years. It seems every year in the waters surrounding Perdido Key we are seeing more and more Redfish showing up for the annual spawn. They arrived in full force on November 10th. Since then the majority of our trips have revolved around acres of Redfish on the surface chasing bait. Many fly fisherman along with those that love light tackle fishing have found this to be the trip of a lifetime. With the average fish length being 35-45 inches it is absolute drag screaming action. Large numbers of these Redfish will be in the area until March 1 so if youre looking to book a trip for trophy Redfish now is the time. As lost bay guide service continues to expand you can see more of what we have to offer on our new website at www.gulfshoresalabamafishing.com and as always checkout recent trip pics on Facebook at Lost Bay Guide Service.

Lost Bay Fishing thought it would be fun to compile a map of the hometowns of past clients, below is the location of the client(s) that were a part of this specific trip. To see the map with all the past clients' hometowns click here ››
