This morning I did some solo scouting and boy did I find fish. Artificial shrimp was the answer for Redfish found pounding the bait in the marsh canals prior to daylight. With the tide peaking bait was everywhere and the Reds were in a feeding frenzy. It may sound crazy but I left the marsh canals early and headed for structure around Ono Island. Again artificial shrimp was the bait of choice for some nice Specks and some big White Trout.
All and all it was a great morning on the water catching fish and watching the local Dolphin and Otters play as the sunrise brought a new day on the coast.
