Today i guided Skip Williams and two of his friends from Tennessee. Skip is a regular customer at Lost Bay Guide Service and always a pleasure to fish with. This was the first time for Dave Rollin and Kirby Dies to fish in saltwater and they made the most of it with lots of Redfish action and plenty of Trout kept for a fish fry. Dave served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and i made sure to let him know how much i appreciated his service to our country. It was an honor to be able to take Dave out and put him on his first Bull Red. Our morning started off with some drag screamin’ action from Bull Redfish on light tackle and artificial baits. Neap tide caused less water movement then we would of liked but we were still able to have a great day of fishing. For about an hour of our trip we were joined by “Stiffy” one of the locals that has since became the Mascot for Lost Bay Guide Service. I had a great time spending the day with these three gentleman and look forward to fishing with them again in the future.
