Today i guided James Nabors and Brian Roberts for some backwater Trout and Redfish action. We started our morning off early with a ride over to Blackwater Bay to avoid some of the big winds that were making most areas a wash. Both of these gentleman are experienced fisherman and made my job super easy. The first area we fished the wrong species decided to eat breakfast first….. but landing Largemouth Bass is nothing new to these fellas. Our next spot yielded Speckled Trout and that is when i had to open the fish box for the first time. During the course of the day we moved from spot to spot and we were able to catch some really nice Speckled Trout, Redfish, Largemouth Bass and Brian ended the day with a great Flounder. Both gentleman were great to fish with and i look forward to fishing with them again soon. Water temp was 63 degrees. All Largemouth were released along with a 16 inch Redfish. Very nice Speckled Trout and Flounder littered the fish box on the ride back to Perdido Key.
