With an incredible summer coming to an end Hurricane Issac’s winds and surge have guaranteed a few days off. During the month of August we did it all from shark fishing, chasing Trout, Bluefish, Spanish Mackerel and Redfish in the shallows, Flounder fishing trips, bottom fishing and the occasional deep water drifts in the Pass for King Mackerel and Bull Redfish. Most trips were extremely productive but the crazy weather patterns of August did make some trips slower than i would’ve liked. With Fall temperatures just around the corner i am looking forward to the large schools of Bull Redfish that make our Fall, Winter and Spring fishing so awesome here in the Panhandle. Flounder gigging trips are soon to see their best action of the year as well. With many of Lost Bay’s clients already booking trips for the upcoming seasons i am looking forward to the next few months in the woods and on the water.” Thank You” to everyone that chose to fish with Lost Bay Guide Service this season and now we are using Instagram so you can follow the action year round on Facebook and Twitter.
