Here is the latest fishing report that i put together for SunJammers Watersports in Panama City.
April 2013 Pensacola Fishing Report – Capt.Bill Willis Lost Bay Guide Service
With the water temperature in the back bays at 58° topwater baits have been producing good numbers of quality Trout and Redfish in the mornings. Further South, at Pensacola Pass the Sheepshead spawn is in full swing on the ledges, jetties and deep water structures. Small schools of Bull Redfish can still be found cruising the beaches and on the near shore wrecks. If steady action is your thing, you’ll be glad to hear that Spanish Mackerel are also schooling just off the beaches. For advice on how to rig or specific artificial baits to use when targeting any of these species feel free to give me a call or stop and see the knowledgable staff at Sunjammers Watersports. Until next month this is Capt. Bill Willis wishing you “Strong knots and Screaming drags”
