Today i fished with Mark Fayard of Fayard’s Marine Fabrication. We started the morning off watching the fog cloud roll off the beach and out over the gulf. I wish we would’ve taken video of the cloud, words can’t explain how wicked that fog looks as it slowly creeps forward making everything in it’s path disappear. One minute we’re looking at twenty story condominium’s and the next they’ve disappeared. After fog watching for a bit we decided to drift for King Mackerel. It turned out to be the right call, within twenty minutes we had one coming to the boat and we were off to the next species. On our next location we weren’t as lucky,no Bull Reds on this trip. After being defeated by the big Redfish we headed for Speckled Trout and were able to convince several of them to cooperate. For our last trick we pulled over to the White Trout honey hole and were able to land some of those as well with one being a big boy. All in all another great day on the water and as always fishing with Mr. Fayard was educational.
