Today i was able to fish with a member of the Lost Bay Team, Mark Fayard of Fayards Marine Fabrication. Mark and i went in search of Ol’ Walter the elusive giant Speckled Trout. On todays trip we were fishing some new areas and trying some new techniques for the deep water giant. To make this a short story i’ll tell you it didn’t end like it did for Henry Fonda in the movie ” On Golden Pond”. Ol’ Walter is still out there gorging himself on Croaker but we did manage to land some of his cousins so all in all it was a great day on the water fishing with a good friend. Trips planned for tomorrow with James Nabors and his wife Juanita so stay tuned. All fish today were caught on artificial bait and light action rods.
